Laura Orr - Executive Director

An entrepreneur from a young age, Laura Orr started her first business when she was nine and has continued to remain successfully self-employed throughout her life, although she often complains that her boss is a stern task-master. She is the executive-director of the British Film Festival, Los Angeles, and has produced several film projects, including an award-winning documentary. She continues to consult on various film, television and literary projects. Presently a resident of Los Angeles, California, she still considers Nashville, Tennessee her home town. She is always hungry, loves her grandma and is currently planning never to sky-dive.

Elizabeth Hughes - Programming Director

Elizabeth Hughes has dedicated most of her adult life to helping others, having worked for a non-profit agency for over two decades. She still found time to co-produce a documentary.  Her love and appreciation of film and its subtle nuances makes her a perfect choice for Programming Director for The British Film Festival, Los Angeles.  Elizabeth is a champion of independent filmmakers and helps to make BFFLA a friendly and welcoming environment for them to showcase their work.  Her dry wit has made her a hit among her co-workers. Her motto is: “What isn’t a good time, is a good story”, a credo that comes in handy as a festival programmer.

Brandon Klock - Media Director

A lover of photography, Brandon has spent years behind the lens of a camera, capturing some of the most beautiful moments of life. He runs his own photography business, Ticking Productions, an asset he is pleased to be using in conjunction with the British Film Festival. As the official photographer of the festival, he never misses a moment of the action, from the first red carpet event to the closing ceremonies. Brandon has acted as a production supervisor on sports related projects for ESPN and Fox, as well as films for Regent Entertainment. He has production managed feature films for Lifetime and the SyFy channel.

Angelica Osborne Hurd - Events Coordinator

Originally from Birmingham Alabama, now living in Redondo Beach with her family, Angelica Osborne is a screenwriter, an actress, a magazine columnist and overall Life Enthusiast!  She enjoys all aspects of the word of film.  From the ubiquitous student film all-nighters, commercials and soap operas to TLC’s “The Messengers” Angelica has been in front of and behind the camera longer than she cares to share.  Her always sunny and irreverent outlook is contagious and keeps everyone around her smiling.  She is an excellent source for unique ideas and is thrilled to be returning for a second year as the events coordinator for British Film Festival, Los Angeles.

Reilly and Morgan Fairchild, and has appeared on Nip/Tuck. He has produced and hosted for television, including Your LA on KNBC and On Point with LA36. He proudly threw himself fully into his role with the British Film Festival by moving to England in 2010 to study for his Master's Degree in International Business. He is currently awaiting the results of his recent deportation hearing.
